I am going to bring to you a series of smoothies that helped me and will help you as well in your healthy weight loss journey. So without further ado, let’s get started! Today’s smoothie is prepared with rolled oats, dry figs, black raisins, dry dates, and skimmed milk. It does not contain any added sugars but still, the taste is amazing. It keeps your stomach full for quite some time and is also packed with abundant vital nutrients.

Pro Tips
use Fresh dry fruits for best taste
Oats: Rolled oats are rich in dietary fiber, particularly beta-glucan, which helps lower cholesterol levels and regulate blood sugar. The high fiber content in oats keeps us feeling full longer, aiding in weight management. Oats contain a decent amount of protein and essential amino acids and can be considered a good source of protein. Oats are packed with essential minerals like manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc, and folate as well.
Dry figs: Dry figs, also known as “Sukha Anjeer” are a great source of dietary fiber, vitamins such as vitamin A, K, and B-complex vitamins, and essential minerals like potassium, magnesium, iron, and calcium. The fiber content in figs helps in digestion and prevents constipation. Calcium and potassium in fig contribute to improving bone density and strength. Natural sugars in figs provide a quick energy boost, while the antioxidants, including polyphenols, combat oxidative stress and support skin health.
Dry dates: Dry dates are a powerhouse of essential nutrients. They are rich in natural sugars like glucose and fructose, providing a quick energy boost. Dry dates are rich in vital minerals such as iron, potassium, magnesium, and calcium, that support healthy bones, boost heart health, regulate blood pressure, and improve blood circulation. Their high iron content makes them beneficial for combating anemia.
Black raisins: Black raisins are dried black grapes. Black raisins are an excellent source of iron, which aids in the formation of hemoglobin and maintaining healthy blood levels. The calcium content in black raisins contributes to maintaining strong bones and teeth. Black raisins contain antioxidants and vitamin C which helps improve skin health and give a natural glow.
Skimmed milk: We all know that milk is a superfood containing vital minerals and vitamins such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus, vitamin D, B vitamins, and high-quality protein essential for muscle repair and maintenance. But, for effective weight management skimmed milk is more beneficial compared to whole milk, as it has fewer calories.
